GLENN J. OZOA, D.O.

Dr. Glenn Ozoa is a board-certified physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation (or physiatry) and interventional spine.    Dr. Ozoa’s practice focuses on non-surgical management of disorders of the back, neck, joints and muscles. Additionally, Dr. Ozoa performs various minimally invasive spinal procedures, such as epidural steroid injections. Furthermore, he performs electrodiagnostic tests, such as EMGs and nerve conduction studies, to aid in the diagnosis of muscle and nerve pathologies.

Dr. Ozoa’s path to medicine was unique.  He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in architecture.  While he was successful as an architect in New York City, he decided to pursue a more fulfilling career as a physician. He attended Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, CA, where he earned his medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).  He then went on to complete his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the UCLA / VA Multi-campus Healthcare system where he also served as Chief Resident.   He further advanced his training by completing a pain medicine fellowship also at the University of California at Los Angeles.

Outside of work, Dr. Ozoa enjoys painting, architecture, running, surfing and spending time with his family.
